What a winning issue!
...if it was 1990.
One of the reasons this nation is at the brink of a societal collapse is because of the indoctrinated myth that this nation is forever and ever “indivisible’ amen.
The “Pledge of Allegiance” was written by an Francis Bellamy, an avowed Socialist.
Look up the “Bellamy Salute” and see what you find.

This is tricky for me.
On one hand I believe in free speech.
On the other, there are limits to that and if you are willing to burn the symbol of our nation, then you are willing to give up your rights.

Why the hell not! If you burn the LGBT flag you'll probably go to jail anyway

I think the issue came to a head at the 1984 Republican National Convention in Dallas. I remember lots of flag-burning there — and lots of outrage — and I think one of the arrests from it went to the Supreme Court.
Someone else can look it up.

Frick no, that’s one of the most unAmerican things I’ve ever heard. He didn’t say that did he..?
If so frick me, it’s like he’s trying to sabotage his re-election.

Suit yourself. Keep clinging to that flag. As for me, I’m stockpiling ammo.

Amazing how quick some of y’all give up your principles (I’m assuming you had some) if the right person says so,

That will get voted down 9-0 by SCOTUS. Like it did last time. Don't like it but it is considered political speech so long as you aren't doing it in a Molotov cocktail.

Jail time is severe, but community service should be required.
No, there’s no limits to it, are you crazy? I bet those of you thinking "yeah that’s a good idea, there’s limits to speech" were in the threads whining about censorship when FB and Twitter removed his tweets.

The radicals burning the flag in response to this will be excellent optics for Trump.
Yep. It's been 4 years and the "educated" masses on the left still fall victim to his traps.

I couldn't support this, but what I could support is someone that has been naturalized have the process reversed if they are burning the flag.

Its a very fine line to me.
Can you...incite a riot? That's freedom of speech.

The people who served and died for that flag and the freedoms it symbolizes would be absolutely ashamed to hear people talk like this. All it took is the right person to tell you to think that way. Absolutely shameful

If you’re advocating for repercussions for burning the flag you obviously know nothing about our constitution.
