Oh and I forgot this as well.....

President Trump broke with top officials at the Justice Department

I like how this is phrased as if those people are on equal standing with their boss in the President of the United States and not actually subordinates to him as employees of the executive branch.

Trump's postion is also the DOJ's position. Not a mere disagreement.

Sessions didn't leave a lifetime appoint Senate gig without knowing what he was stepping into at DOJ. That leads me to believe that Sessions, just like Trump, is letting this all play out. There is no way they could go in wrecking stuff on day 1, esp. given the GOPe resistance to Trump. It may not be obvious, but there are lots of signs that numerous GOPe types are now fully behind Trump. Things will come to a head well before the mid-terms.

Totally agree.

I'm pretty much convinced that as soon as Mueller ends his BS investigation, Trump will fire Sessions in the most humiliating way possible and figuratively kick his arse out of the door.
Sure as shite hope so

the proof that the 2012 election was rigged to keep Obama in office

1. What evidence would prove this
2. Why would the DOJ be involved with it
3. Why in god's name are you entertaining this as a possibility

He is already the best President we have ever had. They would have already killed him but they are afraid of what his supporters would do, and they should be.

How can you call him the best after one year? His supporters wouldn't do shite if "they" killed him. I'd say 95% would go to work the next morning, same as always.

Does he regret appointing the Assistant Attorney General who sent a letter to Nunes calling him reckless for thinking about releasing the memo and pointing out that Nunes hasn't even seen the classified material that the memo purports to be based on?

what

They're calling it reckless simply because the offending parties/institutions listed in the memo haven't had a chance to see it and defend themselves against the accusations; while even IF the memo is released to the public those same people/institutions STILL wouldn't be able to see the classified proof that is the makeup of the accusations within. This is the basis of why some are fighting it in the public sphere, but it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to deduce that they wouldn't worry about the above if there was truly no truth to it or it wasn't aimed at them, they'd be all about the release themselves.

Nunes is the one that combed through the "classified material" over many months to assemble the cliff's notes version of it all, AKA the memo. It is believed that they're intentionally dangling the release so the opposition will fight it and its' contents more and more, which will ultimately lead to the release of not only the memo, but the classified info backing it.

Step 1. Tease the release and let the Dems/guilty parties/MSM whip themselves into a frenzy while fighting it tooth and nail

Step 2. Release the memo to the public, while the Dems and MSM -still in a frenzy - obviously vehemently attempt to discredit and rebuke the claims within

Step 3. Release the irrefutable classified documents backing the memo - after all, the dems and guilty parties are the ones that have been claiming it's unfairness and bias since all anyone got to see was the memo and not the pertinent classified information; Nunes/IG/Trump didn't WANT it to come to this but the opposition just had to have it this way *wink* *wink*

What proof do you have that this happened? This reminds me a lot of when you guys kept saying HRC was about to be indicted.

When I wonder how LA can screw itself so bad with politicians I come here to get reassured. I come here daily and am just amazed. I just can't even......

There isn't a memo. I have no idea what stupid shite you crazies think this memo says but I can promise you it doesn't exist. You people are fricking too stupid to even be sheep. Read some of these posts, it is too stupid to repost yet you all quote it and love it.

Nunes is one of the “Gang of Eight” with Intel oversight. If he has been denied access to the classified information that is news to me. He can basically go to any SCI-FI and get Intel up to the Presidential Daily Brief.

the Justice Department warned the committee it would be "extremely reckless" to release the memo without first supplying it to the agency for review.
So they can try to discredit it? frick you.

"Indeed, we do not understand why the committee would possibly seek to disclose this information without first consulting the relevant members of the Intelligence Community," associate Attorney General Stephen Boyd wrote to the lawmakers on Thursday.
So you dirty motherfrickers can lose text messages and withhold info from them, but when they release info it's wrong? frick you DOJ!

He wrote the memo based on stuff he and his staff heard in briefings. He hasn't seen the classified info himself, and Trump's own DOJ Assistant AG appointee confirmed as much in his letter.
