He’s been the best president on reversing illegal immigration. It’s not close. I’ll take that. Presidents don’t accomplish 100% of what they say they’ll do. Only children believe that’s possible.

We haven’t reversed anything. We’ve temporarily stopped most illegal migration, but deportation numbers have been woefully low. Trump is partly to blame for picking Kristi fricking Noem as DHS secretary. Now Democrats will win big in November and Trump will be a lame duck for two years. Not a chance in hell any progress on immigration policy will be made. Talk about a huge opportunity totally fumbled away. The vast deportation apparatus that Trump promised has not materialized.

We have wasted a lot of time in the last 15 months with pointless and counterproductive nation building exercises. The opposite of what Trump campaigned on. Perhaps you don’t fully appreciate the precarious position this country is in, but we don’t have time to take our eyes off the ball with deportation numbers that lag behind Obama and Bush. Again, that was not what we were promised, and that you are making it seem like Trump is doing whatever he can to speed up these deportations is frankly just laughable.

This is just one of the reasons why you shouldn't start a thread that relies entirely on a linked tweet. Provide an additional summary + some discussion about it.
Trump has been great at shutting down the Mexican border, but deportations are pretty disappointing. Plus he pushed this $100k/yr H1B cost, then TACO'd and limited it to a one time charge (which I'm pretty sure doesn't apply to the practically unlimited jeet family members that can come here based on that one H1B).
Overall, he's great relative to Biden, but has not fulfilled his promises. He needs to do better.
