Well, firstly I would say it’s kinda hard to plan every aspect of a war. Sure, there’s been a plan, yes, plans that have evolved as the reality on the ground evolves. Has everything gone according to plan? The entire duration? I wouldn’t say so, not necessarily.

But this wasn’t exactly the question I asked, eh? I know it was kind of a dick question, perhaps rhetorical in nature, I admit it. But still, it’s answerable nonetheless.
