Some folks be like “Because Trump wants to beat Iran, I want Iran to beat us. I mean, just who does that Trump think he is?”

And I’m not directing this at any specific person….but it’s usually not difficult to identify any such unnamed person(s).

The US has destroyed 100% of Iran's military capability except for those military capabilities that they did not.

Such great news. High fives all around the situation room (except Vance who was opposed). We destroyed everything in Iran except the regime.

Will be interesting to see if this misadventure cools Rubio’s flame and boosts Vance.

It seems to be doing the exact opposite.

The neocons never were anti-war/intervention. They were just engaging in Taqiyya

I watched Robert Barnes on Daniel Davis Deep Dive yesterday. Barnes may be full of shite, but I think he is pretty well connected with some people in the admin. It was really disheartening because he has been very supportive of Trump and Israel until recently. He has gone the other way and said Vance, Tulsi, and Caine did everything they could to oppose this conflict, but they are mostly shut out and Trump is only listening to people who give him good news.

It's been a recurring theme since 2016

Trump REALLY doesn't like admitting he makes mistakes, and the longer we are in this conflict and the more it escalates, the deeper he's likely to dig that hole, which makes admitting the mistakes that much harder.

I have read/heard the same from other sources.

Caine was strongly opposed. Of course now he’s going to be a good soldier, not a Milly.

Vance voiced his complete opposition but isn’t going to make a stink now that it’s happening. But you will notice he’s not out as a rah rah cheerleader on this, only the required bare minimum coolness. It will be interesting what he says when he’s running for President in 2 years and how Trump reacts to what he says.

It appears that Trump was seduced by appeals to his ego (you can be a Churchill, you can be the President that ended Iran as a threat, you can be a legend, this will cement your legacy, our military is unstoppable) from people in his ear (Graham, Bibi, Rubio, some neocon Pentagon and CIA players).

And I’m sure he has been on an interventionist military adventurism sugar high since Venezuela. I feel that op convinced Trump to move now on Iran.

Guys a 3 time Trump voter

Trump has completely caught him by surprise by continuing to act like Trump has for 10 years.

So you gotta cut him some slack if he needs to pitch multiple trantrums in the same weekend

Because, you know, the alternative is he is a lying sack of you know what who is just another TDS addled moron

I think only Don Jr and maybe Susie Wiles.

IF Susie Wiles isn’t a full blown neocon.

will take a hollow, meaningless, and outright false declaration of victory at this point. Let’s wrap it up.

It’s been two weeks. What’s the point of doing it at all if we aren’t going to see it through till our goals are met? Either do nothing or do it 100%.
