That will ultimately sum up his failure to drain the swamp and utilize ALL the power he had to bring DC to its knees

He never really wanted to be what he followers wanted him to be

He just wanted to be president

I feel like an LSU wide receiver hung out to dry by Jordan Jefferson in tight coverage.

Trump didn’t fail you, your fellow Americans failed you by voting against America First policies.

No - Trump failed

He had the power to stop 90% of what happened in the last year

But he didn’t have the balls to do it

I disagree. The swamp is impossible for one man to drain in 4 years. He only had support of half the republicans in Congress. The ones who felt pressure from their voters who loved Trump.
The job can't be done until the whole party is pulling in the same direction.

That’s what I am saying

A REVOLUTIONARY would have utilized emergency powers, EOs, etc and kicked arse anyway KNOWING it HAD to be done

A revolutionary would not have cowered to the Capital “siege” narrative, he would have doubled down

A simple president couldn’t do that. But a fighter could

Trump didn’t have it in him

If Trump didn’t no one will. He was the last best shot.

It will never happen. The swamp has been too deeply entrenched for decades. Plus the Republicans are never, ever on the same page like the Dems are. They should have maintained power for years after the Obama midterms and after Trump's election, but they just could never get out of their own way with cucked losers like Paul Ryan and John Boehner. The squandered both mandates in truly spectacular fashion as only Republicans can.

Things just aren't as simple as we want them to be, unfortunately.

Live the best we can in a depression until the R's regain power. Then hope they've finally learned their lesson and start playing hardball (very unlikely).

Honestly I think a proper solution would be the rise of a third party, but that's probably not even feasible. It would take someone enormously famous and powerful and with tons of funding to make that happen. Maybe Trump could form an alliance with Dwayne Johnson and take up the cause?

That's a bold statement.

Losing congress (as in House in 18) sucked balls. We can talk about what he could've done to prevent that. Then go from there.

They will label the third party as domestic terrorists and even if they weren't, they will be cheated in an election.
