It's not just oil, it's chemicals & fertilizer, more specifically urea which they're a top 10-15 exporter.
It's also not just China & Pakistan. Iran exports to nearly 20 other countries.

WTI and Brent are just widget of specifications. Actual oil is indexed to these depending on chemical assay. Higher metals content is the biggest hit a crude oil can take, from my understanding.
