I gave up on Jeff Sessions a long time ago.
We really shouldn't be surprised that someone who's spent well over 20 years in DC before becoming AG is just as swampy as the GOPe and the Obama Admin.

We need a second special counsel. We cannot expect the DOJ to investigate itself and the FBI. If there was ever an example of conflict of interest, this is the best possible example.

ETA: Gowdy has spoken of getting out of the circus/swamp. I hate this. He's always been a straight shooter and a hard hitter, and he's exactly the kind of person that is actually needed in Washington. He just doesn't give a frick about anything but what's right and legal, and I love that.

So the Republicans want to open another investigation into themselves? Wow. Next week we will hear the Republicans complain that the new Special Counsel is just as bad as the other Special Counsel and that all of the investigations should cease.
But then maybe they will start another investigation.

Meanwhile the democrats know for a fact that HRC and the DNC rigged the primaries and did jack shite. At least the Republicans give some semblance of caring about what’s going on.

Gowdy just said Comey, McCabe, and Blumenthal are targets of the new special counsel. Apparently IG can't interview them because they are nor employed by DOJ/FBI.
Boom is about to be dropped.

Nothing will happen, no SC will be appointed because of Sessions. We have heard all this before. Write a letter, yes that will move him to act.
