Do you know the reason for the Zyrtec? He normally takes Xyzal for allergies but wondering if there is a specific reason for Zyrtec?

There has been some preliminary research on Zyrtec (cetirizine) and Pepcid (famotidine) to help reduce Covid symptoms. Use a non-Google search engine and you’ll find multiple results.

Emory University is starting a new study using both
Zyrtec and Pepcid Study

These may not be the silver bullet but again, why have our public health officials not even mentioned these safe, over the counter drugs that many people already have in their medicine cabinet as an option?

Benadryl

“The fact that these drugs actually inhibit the virus in the lab does not necessarily mean that they will inhibit it actively in people — but they might,” Ostrov said.

Reznikov said the data suggest these three antihistamines may work by either disrupting the virus’s interactions with ACE2 or by binding with another protein that may interfere with viral replication.

What does the melatonin do?

Is it advantageous to take after positive or preventative, as well.

More reasons to give those melatonin gummies to the kids every night.

Why would u give a kid this vaccine? They have more of a chance dying from the flu than Covid.

Sorry misread. You got the vaccine. Not the kid
We did Tylenol and slept. Wasn’t very bad at all for me and my kiddos.

Thanks, hadn't read this one.

quote:

Earlier this year, Leah Reznikov, Ph.D., an assistant professor of physiological sciences in the UF College of Veterinary Medicine and the study’s principal investigator on the study, began collaborating with David A. Ostrov, Ph.D., an immunologist and associate professor in the UF College of Medicine’s department of pathology, immunology and laboratory medicine. They and other colleagues set out to identify approved drugs that can interfere with the way the SARS-CoV-2 virus binds to cells. Blocking that connection essentially locks a cellular doorway that inhibits the virus’s transmission to the respiratory system.

Whoops, she's about to get "horse wormer"ed. Doesn't matter if there is legit research since December 2020 showing we may be able to stop all this with Benadryl, the ONLY VAX narrative must continue.

It's over the counter, it reduces the symptoms, and it seems to (anecdotally) stop the virus.

It appears to have worked for 6 of my family members.

This is the shite I don't get. Why are the powers that be not putting out recommended treatment protocols for adults and children. Instead of just get vaxxed and shut up.

Gotta have hospitalizations and deaths to keep the fear campaign going. Money for Big Pharma, power and control for the state.
And they're willing to let people die to get it.
They don't give a shite about you or your kids.

Xbox seemed to get my son right as rain.

Healthy 11 yr old literally just had fever for 12 hours and nothing else. For most kids getting Covid is a non event other than having to quarantine

Being well rest with a good night’s sleep helps you recover.

there's nothing much you can do except let it run its course.

The only reason why this is the case is because of the Feds, Big Pharma and healthcare providers more concerned about politics than helping people.

It's out there to help people when they get sick, but they refuse.

BTW frick OCHSNER.

Legit asking - if he did get his child tested and it was positive, are doctors prescribing anything for children at this point?

My understanding is that they were not before, not sure if that is still the case.

Kids don’t need anything IMO other than what you do for a normal cold, most of them have mild to no symptoms, that’s why they don’t need the jab either

Why not just treat it like any other virus? Stay hydrated, get some rest, expel as much phlegm/mucus/etc as possible. Get up and around as much as possible. Get some sunlight and fresh air

To some, if you aren't forced at gunpoint, you aren't forced.

To reasonable people, having your livelihood threatened when you have a family to be responsible for is also being forced.

Honestly, I feel for anyone stuck at a job to the point they’d do something they think is potentially harmful to their health to keep that job.

well it may not be mentioned in the public spotlight, but the doctor i went to told me to take zyrtec and flonase

both seemed to help, but the flonase gave me almost instant relief from nasal swelling
