If your plan was to destroy absentee ballots of possible Trump voters, why would you just throw it in a ditch where it could be discovered? Why wouldn't you just...I don't know...bury it, burn it, shred it. JFC.

You are assuming the perpetrator had enough common sense to plan this out. In short, stupid people do stupid things.

As if the average postal employee is a criminal genius. They probably operate at about your level.

It doesn't matter. 99.8% of conservatives are voting in person anyway.

Three mail trays. That's a lot of votes.

I owned a direct mail company years ago

each tray represents a full mailing zone. On average, each zone has roughly 500 addresses

I've been saying for a long time now that this election is going to be a giant cluster frick because of all this mail in voting
There's one sure fire way to avoid all of the certain frickery...

Make everyone vote in person like we always have. Require ID. Game over.

Personally, I believe anyone who doesn't pay a single penny into taxes should be ineligible to vote in the first place but that's just me... well, that's not really just me, that's a lot of us.

Mail is tracked to some degree is it not? Or can be? Why is no one being punished for this? The same people work the same routes/places everyday...shouldn't be that hard to determine who had what last.

The number of absentee ballots cast by absentee voters nearly doubled, from 14.7 million in 2004 to 24.8 million in 2016. Mail voting was tracked beginning in 2008, and the number showed a steady increase through 2016, more than tripling from 2.4 million in 2008 to 8.2 million in 2016.

I had a redneck uncle who got a job as a paperboy when he was a kid. Instead of delivering the papers he would just toss them in a storm drain and go about his leisurely day. Some customers started complaining that they weren't getting their morning papers, but my uncle swore up and down to his manager that he delivered the papers and these people were just deadbeats who didn't want to pay their bills.

Then it rained and some streets flooded because my uncle had crammed so many newspapers in the drainiage system that it clogged the pipes. That was the end of his career in the "newspaper business"

I hate the damper this will put on the election night festivities when Trump is up yugely in most states. The Progs won't melt down like 2016 if they think there is hope to steal it a week later.

Go sell coy somewhere else. We all know why the dems are pushing for massive mail ballots and getting rid of things like signature verification and voter ID. You want another Franken if you can pull it off.

I guess the Democratic mail carrier dropped the other two trays so it wouldn't look "suspicious".
