I think Washington State was bad too when it was mainly that nursing home. Same with NOLA.

Why would you say something so demonstrably false? It makes you look ridiculous. You can lay into NOLA quite easily without saying stupid things.

I'm really not surprised considering by the reaction of most of you to simple stay at home orders for two weeks.

I'll pray for the state of Louisiana and Texas needs to lock this down before they come across.

I'll never understand your reaction to this. It's real but is only as bad as we as a community make it. Take it seriously for two weeks. Please. It will save lives.

This doesn’t makes sense. People who are dying are getting care not just at UMC—top notch teaching hospital—but also at other hospitals. And Lambeth house residents are hardly poor.

Viewed another way, New Orleans has recorded more deaths than Manhattan — generally seen as America’s epicenter of the pandemic — with a population less than a quarter as large.

46 dead in New Orleans from Corona Virus in 2 weeks?

Not good. Sobering even.

That is what you get with decades of liberal mayors... incompetence which can be deadly. If the people of N.O. want to blame someone they need to look in the mirror.

So, this is what they mean by not letting a good crisis go to waste? I will never live in a city or town run by democrats.

Sample size and duration of hospitalization till death still need to be accounted for before we have a good idea as to the deathrate of those hospitalized
