This shouldn't surprise anyone that's been following it, if anything it's to be expected as we are really just now starting to do a relevant amount of testing. What also should be expected is for the confirmed cases to spike even more as more and more testing is done (for example, Louisiana has no cases but up til today we had done only 8 tests in total).

The key to watch is the deaths and recoveries. If deaths spike, look at the context (for example, the VAST majority of current US deaths came from a single, shittily run nursing home), but what is expected is that it will only rise very slowly and will eventually be far outpaced by recoveries.

What you're saying is we're doing better than Soith Korea, Italy, Iran, France, Germany, Spain, and per capita, Japan, Switzerland, UK, etc. Thanks.
