Washington
Reagan
Trump

In that order. Washingotn could've been anointed king, but said that's not what the US stands for. Reagan was a badass and crippled the USSR. Trump has done more to get us out of the US apology mindset and fighting the globalist POTUS's of the previous 26 years. He will jump second if he can kill the deep state bureaucracy in the SES and IC.

Had JFK not been assassinated he would have gone down in history as one of the worse Presidents in US history.

Of my 43 years it’s Trump & Reagan. No one else is worthy of a ranking. Carter is a joke. Bush was deep state. Clinton was disastrous with foreign policy. Bush... the War on Terror (and civil liberties). Obama, damn near everything was mismanaged and the abuses of power.

As someone who is a fan of a small central government and laissez-faire economics, Coolidge is at the top of my list!

Why Grover ?

The last classical liberal to be President. He supported the gold standard, opposed free silver, fought Tammany Hall as governor of New York and opposed American imperialism.

Trump, Reagan, Eisenhower.

Trump because of his determination to create an economy that benefits all workers regardless of race and gender through his "America First" iniative. His effort (the Wall) to secure our borders, and his effort to disconnect America from its roll as the UN's policeman.

Reagan because he stood at the Wall in West Berlin and said,"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" The citizens of Berlin did tear down the wall and the image of West and East Berliners hugging with elation amidst the collapsed wall was a sight I will never forget.

Eisenhower because after finishing his term as President, and in his departing message to the American people, warned of the dangers of the Military-Industrial complex. IMO America ignored his warning and that was a contributing factor in our defeat in Viet Nam.

Having said that, I'm convinced if Joe Biden is elected President we will be plunged back into a terrible war. A war to protect the profits of the multi-national corporations, including Wall Street and the International Banking Cabal.

In my lifetime it's Reagan, Trump and Ike. Ike popularized golf and it influenced my dad to start playing in middle age. Added years to his life because he was a manual laborer with no hobbies.

My list as well. Coolidge is often overlooked. Trump getting a second term would move him ahead of Reagan on my list.

Ever heard of a guy named Lincoln? Slavery was abolished under his presidency? Or how about George Washington? Teddy Roosevelt? Thomas Jefferson? You know, the country is older than 60 years?

He stated his opinion for his top 3. You should state yours instead of just being an asshat.

Mine:
1. Lincoln - civil war / emancipation
2. Washington - the OG
3. FDR - WWII
4. Reagan - Cold War
5. Kennedy - Cuba

HM
Teddy - Parks
Trump - dealing with neo-Marxist revolutionaries

Ouch, man

Two of those guys are actors that don't even have their own agenda they are just tools of the Republican party because they rarely have politicians that are electable to the presidency.

FD Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy.

How do I know Roosevelt is the greatest president?

Republicans barely have an agenda, their agena for almost the past 100 years has been to reverse the things FDR did and they've mostly failed.

100 years of victory for Democrats.

Personally, I think that a list of “greatest presidents” must constitute some thing other than “the guys with whom I generally agreed.” 90% of the posts on this thread fall into that category.

I think the list must be comprised of individuals who actually accomplished something of moment.

Reagan certainly belongs on the list. He ended the Soviet threat, essentially single-handedly. Trump? Yeah, he had a decent economy for his first three years. Kennedy? Well, he got shot. Other than that, he did point us in the direction of the moon. What else did he accomplish?

Washington? He did not actually accomplish very much in office. He is held in high esteem for the actions he performed before he was elected. In office, all he really did was set precedent by agreeing to step down.

Jefferson actually accomplish something. Even if you disagree with his methods, he paved the way for the United States to become a continent-spanning power.

Lincoln? Personally, I dislike him immensely because of all the constitutional abuses which took place during his administration. However, he did have the backbone to preserve the nation, when many would’ve advised allowing the south to leave. I would describe FDR in much the same way.

My list? Jefferson , FDR and Reagan. Honorable mention to Teddy.

My choice for greatest President will always be George Washington for one simple reason. He could have started a new monarchy in this fledgling republic. He had a lot of support and calls to do so but refused. That one principled stand allowed our nation a new birth.

The worst was Jimmy Carter. He unleashed the hell that has been Al Queda and all of radical Islam upon an unsuspecting world. He showed what Democratic policies will do to an economy.
