This I agree with, Trump needs to run silent, run deep and prepare to fire all torpedoes. You have to wonder if he's got something big on these leftists loons and is just toying with them for enjoyment.
This is what worries me - unless the hammer is coming down today with indictments. special prosecutors, why announce this?
I repeat - I am afraid he has gone down some rabbit hole and fallen for a ruse (maybe even set up by the 'deep state' to poke him with some easily rebutted nonesense. If this happened he is really done as far as any credibility going forward.
Why can't he keep his damned mouth shut??? I love his agenda - but damn his irrational mouth sure makes it hard to have any faith in his credibility.
He had better be right about this = all I can say.

We may be looking at this in error.
Someone ask Toddy if "wire tapping" has some other connotation.

He definitely has evidence. He wouldn't make this big of a claim without it.
God I hope you are right - But why announce it before you have the indictments in place???????????
He is just engaging in a twitter pissing contest with this = stupid

Trump doesn't agree.

If what he is saying is true, I would suspect that the information came to light once his own people were installed in these agencies. Using the NSA to conduct political opposition research is a very very very serious matter. My guess is that they seized upon the seemingly nice things Trump and Putin said about each other and went looking for evidence they could use to further the narrative. It's akin to a candidate saying something that might be considered racist or sexist, so you go digging for other examples to show a pattern. In this case though, the full weight of the federal govt was used to conduct opposition research

The level of coordination required , at the highest levels, between the intelligence community agencies and the Administration to do this would make me consider whether the country is already lost after eight years of post- constitutionalism. And whether this cold cultural war is about to go hot. We can either have The Left or the Constitution, but not both.

zero proof to substantiate his claim. Zero. He's up watching the news channels again I guess. He should go back to watching his Saturday morning cartoons
Since when do you leftists jackasses care about proof.

I have a hard time believing that it would be made without concrete proof.
For any rational person yes = but this is Trump.
If concrete evidence exists, do you have any thoughts on why this would be released via twitter rather than an announcement of indictments or appointment of a special counsel? Or if the concrete evidence needed to be fleshed out more, why it would be released at all???
I am really really really worried about the outcome of this. I have this feeling that Trump is about to have the rug jerked from under him in a very embarrassing fashion. Hope to hell I am wrong. Damn, I don't want this to be just another bullshite tweet. But I got nothing to explain the events. nothing.

is this like when he made up the stuff about the birth certificate or actually legit?

I'll go in record. Trump is a fricking idiot and he needs to get off of twitter because it's the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen a sitting president do.
The real reason you and your Soros payed employees want President Trump off of twitter so the MSM can hide or frame this information into a nothing burger. I think you are earning your money this morning, but I also think you should be banned or put in a time out.

Perhaps to inject the issue in to the public narrative. At the very least, this tweet will be discussed at length in the media, and it will become an issue. This would introduce the possible viability or veracity of the claims in to the minds of the media-consuming public. If charges were brought out of nowhere without any prior discussion, it would look more like a partisan hit-job.
Just thinking out loud.

This is crazy. The way I see it there are three possible scenarios here, two of which are terrifying and one of which is troubling.
1. DJT is lying about this. Falsely accusing a former president of something this serious would effectively end any credibility he has.
2. Obama (or someone in his administration) illegally tapped Trump's phone. This would be huge.
3. Obama (or someone in his administration) legally tapped Trump's phone. This would be significant news, but not necessarily groundbreaking depending on the evidence that led to the wiretapping.

Pimp - PLEASE give me some rational reason that explains Trump's tweet as being a rational thing to do.
This smells to high heaven like an irrational rumor.

Haven't read the responses to this DEFLECTION; but I'm sure the Board responded appropriately.
Now we know why Obama moved Jarret into the upstairs bedroom; they are 'in bed' together in an electoral scandal (using Fed Intel Mechanisms to monitor the oppositions communications) that makes Watergate look petty.
Trump has the goods; Obama may well be indicted if he okayed this stuff. We all know that he knew; more a matter of whether or not the heat is applied to his Underlings to a degree that one rolls over and gives Him and Jarret up.
This is why they had to hobble Sessions; he'd hang em'. Time for a major Investigation; Grand Jury, Subpoenas, under-Oath testimony, etc. The Offense needs to take the field.

If he had FICA court approval it's not likely an indictment follows.
It's what he did with that info that could sink him.
