Was thinking about this after it looks like Steve Scalise may become speaker. This has to be just nationally and from Louisiana. To hard if we are doing state politics.

Admittedly the bar isn’t very high but I vaguely remember Tom Ed McHughand Dave Treen weren’t bad.
Add Henson Moore.

Billy Tauzin was pretty good until his term ended and became a lobbyist, for Big Pharma of all corporations. He has since moved into other industries too.

Richard Baker good too until became a lobbyist himself. Talk snakes in the grass.
