So trump didn’t hit 307 November 8, 2016?
Just want to make sure we aren’t playing summaries.

He didn’t hit 307 until the Electoral College met the following month.

Ever heard of a faithless elector? Obviously not.

Now that I’ve “learned” you a lesson, please proceed with the OP’s premise.

Trump needs to do his thing without giving them ammunition for easy sounds bites.

Having an indoor rally right now is very questionable.

Having an outdoor rally would be very unquestionable.

Trump campaign choose the risky former option. Larger risk with not much more payoff.

This is what the opponents will point to.

He has to draw clear lines between law and order vs chaos and between jobs vs mobs and between capitalism vs marxism. Between unity and reform vs division and dismantling.

Bad post. The media will attack him regardless. The media already attributes all COVID cases to him.

What is important is he fires up his base. An angry, inflamed conservative base is enough to get to 270 and it doesnt matter what the other side does.

Trump must be absolutely terrified he might say something the MSM won’t like or could misrepresent.

Terrified.

TRUMP will hit 400 votes in November

Even if that happens it won't matter.

This election is going to be contested regardless of who wins.

I agree with what you say

But it’s hot as frick everywhere and there would be just as many health concerns outdoors.

I suspect you will see more outdoor rallies this season than 2016. But as long as they provide enough masks, hand sanitizer, water, and temperature check everyone they should be fine.

They should even one up and provide free testing tent outside as well. That’s covering all the ducking boxes.

No it isn’t.

This is a huge opportunity for millions of people rejecting the good little marxists trying to destroy our country to see our POTUS and everyone attending the rally saying we’re still here. It’s an opportunity to give a resounding frick you to the media, the left, and anyone else in agreement with what has transpired.

The media is back on Covid and social distancing since Trump is having a rally. I’ve seen two articles in LAT and Wapo.

Where was this fear of the virus when 10000's massed together in front of the Supreme Court a few weeks ago for the gay decision? CNN raved about the massive support then. Pretty sue President Trump knows by now what he is doing, especially when it comes to the media attacking him. He could care less.

huge gamble

Donald Trump was an entrepreneur before he was our President. Entrepreneurs are gamblers. They have confidence in themselves, their team, and the validity of their product and message.

Trump is selling a free market capitalist America. His enemies are selling tyranny. Buyers choice.

These attendees understand that.

Why tf would Covid spikes from this take precedence over spikes from the riots?

It's scientific fact you can't catch the Covid at riots.

We are seeing spikes from the riots. Its just spread out because people drove across state lines to protest and riot and then returned home.

They are saving those spiked numbers from the riots to use as spiked numbers from the Trump rally.
