What I thought was funny during the Trump tax leak thing was the internet was pimping that fact Joe Biden paid $3.7 million in income tax in 2017. Like I said then the question should have been how the frick does a retired lifelong politician need to pay $3.7 million in income taxes IN ONE YEAR.

The Democrats thought Joe Biden paying this much in income tax was a good thing compared to Trump and not something that should be questioned why he would need to pay that much.

Today was the beginning of answering that question.

One thing you will not see from the mainstream media is a comparison of the charitable contributions made by Trump and Biden from their EARNED income.

Yeah, the guy that posted that is a complete idiot ...

Biden makes about $200K as a U.S. Senator.

For him to pay $3.7 million in taxes, he and his "Doctor" wife would have to have about $10-12 million in taxable income ...

Hiden hasn't written any best sellers and unless those are short-term capital gains payments.

He admitted to a quid pro quo with Ukraine. Refused to allow a loan guarantee unless they fired a prosecutor investigating the company where Hunter Biden “worked”. Seems pretty damn suspect to me.

Well according to Hunters own texts to family members, Joe was making Hunter give him 50% of his income...oh and that income, we now know, came from Hunters appointment to the Burisma board, a job of which he was wholly unqualified for, but was paid a handsome $50K a month to occupy. We also now know, from Hunters own emails, that one of his few responsibilities at Burisma was arranging meetings (“unofficial” meetings of course) between his VP “Pop” and Burisma executives and other wealthy foreign government officials, all of which had plenty of money to pay if the US gov could “help them out with a problem”

I think the terms that Democrats used during impeachment were “bribery” and “quid pro quo.” I’d say you can even call it “abuse of power” if you want.

In simpler terms, Trump was impeached over what JOE BIDEN actually did. Ironic, isn’t it?!

Yup. When you launder money, it's wise to just go ahead an pay the taxes on it so some uppity kid in the IRS doesn't come around sniffing. (Dems know how to play that game quite well.)

When Biden ended his term as vice president in January 2017, he filed another financial disclosure form, listing assets and liabilities worth somewhere between negative $897,000 and positive $489,000. But over the next 23 months, the Bidens earned more than $15 million, according to tax filings. Joe Biden got $1.8 million from book tour events and $2.4 million in speaking fees, according to his most recent financial disclosure. He also earned $775,000 from the University of Pennsylvania to lead the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement as the Benjamin Franklin presidential professor of practice. Jill added $700,000 in speaking fees.

Let's see here. 1.8 + 2.4 + .775 + .700 = 5.675. seems like there is another 9.325 million missing from there. I do know that his 2017 tax return shows just over $10 million in income fr his and Jill's S corps but the schedule E only shows the total income not any sorts of breakdowns.

Not to mention using the political influence as Vice-President of the United States of America to land his worthless drug addict son some generational wealth from China and Ukraine. Plus, Hunter's own text message said that "Pop" took half his salary.

That was Corn Pop, right? He was a bad dude!

So where is the other $9 million dipshit? What could it possibly be? You have already mentioned all of the usual money-laundering avenues used by ex-pols.

When Joe was Vice President, there was a thread on this very board questioning his intelligence because he was one of (if not the) poorest Senators, and despite 30+ years in office, was too stupid to profit from it like everyone else.

Now, that same idiot, whose already low cognitive ability has declined rapidly (and probably has dementia), is somehow profiting like a genius.
