The siege of Vienna is absolutely more important.
God bless the Poles.

Not if the pope keeps telling us that we should be taking in refugees, who seem to be overwhelmingly military aged, able bodied males.

Was a important battle. I don't have a "Holy League" flag emoji though.

Great naval battle. Nothing approaching the most important military engagement in history.
Spot on. Have your first upvote.
The Muslims waged war against Christendom for over 1000 years, and while Lepanto was a great victory (one where Cervantes was wounded and lost the use of his left arm), it was more of a marker of gradual Ottoman rot, rather than a crucial pivot in which civilizational success hung in the balance. Ask yourself, had the Ottomans won that battle, would they have staved off their decline? No way in hell.
Of the three great Catholic patriarchal cities of the ancient world (Antioch, Rome, & Alexandria), the Muslims took 2 out of 3 in the 630s, and then went into France in the 8th century, and were battling to try to take Vienna as late as 1683. It was back in the early days when Western Christendom hung in the balance--especially after the Byzantines thoroughly depopulated Italy through the Gothic Wars in the 6th century.
The Battle of Tours (won by Charlemagne's grandfather) was surely more important historically than the Battle of Lepanto.

I'd rather be a product of Catholic domination over Muslim, but there is some dark shite going on with the ruling Jesuits right now

John III Sobieski and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth put a stop to that.

It's more than just the Jesuits too. Across the entire spectrum of Catholic intellectuals, every nook and cranny of Catholic media is weak and inept, or just plain terrible. (EDIT: I continue to give credit to EWTN and the NC Register, for doing the little things well, but they are not really geared toward effectively opposing Vatican culture.) (EDIT2: EWTN is actually coming through... here is something they aired the Thursday before last: " World Over - 2017-09-28 - Pope Francis Given Formal Correction with Raymond Arroyo".)
Here's a recent article from National Review: " Catholic Scholars vs. the Pope Who, They Charge, Is ‘Propagating Heresies’."
Of all the Catholic bishops of the world, only Bishop Fellay of SSPX in Switzerland had the balls to put his signature on it. Cardinal Burke of Wisconsin has given some indications that he might join in, but so far I don't think he has put his name on any formal correction document.

That’s why people will have to google it—not because of some 500 year-old conspiracy.
People have to Google-it because they are uneducated. Whether Lepanto is THE most important battle in history is subjective and debatable. But there can be no debate that the Battles of Tours, Malta, Lepanto, and Vienna saved the West from Islam.
Sadly, the West could not be saved from Liberal Socialism which has simply opened the door and welcomed the Islamic conquest that 1,500 years of Islamic invasions could not achieve.

It's crazy. I had a Jesuit education K-12th grade and I wouldn't have had seen any of this coming.

Buck Sexton did a great radio show on the battle of Lepanto a year or so ago. Really good listen if you have the time. The podcast of it is available to download.

It is always interesting (but usually unproductive) to attack questions of all time importance.
In this case you have:
Hastings
Waterloo
Marathon
Syracuse
Varus
Tours
Orleans
Blenheim
Saratoga
Just of the top of my head.
I think one could make the argument Gettysburg set up a situation for the modern power dynamic in the world today. That loss for Lee may have well hinged on Jackson being shot by friendly fire at Chancellorsville which lead to Ewell not understanding the term practicable from Lee and resting vs attacking Cemetery Hill. The tiniest of things can often change the history of the world.
It is a shame history and as a subset military history is so lacking in most of the population. While education is certainly responsible in part history requires near a life long pursuit to even scratch the surface.
I like to trigger the history vs hate members of my extended family with a simple quiz.
What are the dates (just the years) of the civil war.
Name 3 US generals not named Grant
Name 3 Confederate generals not named Lee
Name 3 battles the Confederacy won
To date they have all failed miserably, so much for the history part.

In 1964, American historian Lt. Col. Joseph B. Mitchell published Twenty Decisive Battles of the World, an update of Creasy's list with five additions:
The Vicksburg Campaign, 1863. By capturing the Mississippi River during the American Civil War, the Union separated the Confederacy into halves.
Battle of Sadowa, 1866. This Prussian victory over the Austrians during the Seven Weeks War paved the way for a German empire.
First Battle of the Marne, 1914. The British and French prevented a German assault on Paris and an early German victory in World War I.
Battle of Midway, 1942. The beginning of the United States offensive in the Pacific Ocean during World War II and the devastating loss of four Japanese aircraft carriers.
Battle of Stalingrad, 1942–43. The defeat of the German attempt to conquer the Soviet Union and a significant loss of German resources in World War II.
