Today in deceiving headlines - "Chefs, scientists explain why electric stoves are superior

to cooking on gas"
Those clickbait MFers got me
The actual article goes on to talk about induction stoves which are completely different from traditional electric ranges and are marginally more expensive
LINK
Why not just put induction in the MFing title of the article since that's what the entire thing is about?

Why ask us?
They are your people. You trip over your own dick every day trying to defend them.

Gas stoves are preferred by experts. And by that I mean people who cook or consume food.

Gas stoves are preferred over traditional electric
But there is reasonable division over gas vs induction
I've had all 3 and would rank them as induction > gas>>>>electric
Though in my opinion the gap between induction and gas is small and the gap between gas and electric is massive
And there are some things you can do with gas that you simply can't do with induction

I’m not searching your post history to find an example of you supporting climate change agenda. I
But if I did, I would only need to look for an EV thread.

The only “chefs” that might make the claim of preferring electric over gas are sushi chefs.

I don't own an EV and don't advocate that anyone be compelled to switch to them
Your imagination is creating things that don't exist

Remember the old natural gas heaters with the ceramic grates? It took about 1/4 of the gas consumption as the current heaters require to heat the home.
Goooooooooooooooberment regulations removed them!!

Find me a chef that prefers electric over gas and I'll show you an unemployed blogger.

They're referring to induction
Not what you would think of as traditional electric

Traditionally but a lot of kitchens have actually switched to induction because it has the same temperature control of gas.
I still prefer cooking with gas but I could definitely live with a good induction range.

I truly dislike your entire demeanor. However, your point about induction bei g a quality alternative stands...and that's why free-market exists

I prefer gas, and even if it was the worst I STILL don't want the government telling me I can't own one.
Debating how well they work is essentially accepting their stupid premise.
