No. You just said you knew he died at the hospital. So you aren’t holding off judgment.

Crazy considering he died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital according to the EMS.
He looked very dead by the end of the video.

I don’t know what “assinated” is. But it doesn’t sound like anything I’m interested in.

That was not necessary at all if the guy was hand cuffed. Police are doing themselves no favors.

So, that’s not saying that’s proof to wait for more information to come out? Jesus, 808, you are normally more level headed than this. But just a few pages back you were saying he died on the street.
So, I think it’s fair for anyone to say I’ll wait for more facts before making a decision.

According to the EMS he wasn’t.
So, fair to wait for the coroner’s report?

You mean those 4 specific cops. Some cop in some other state has nothing to do with what these tools did

He died on the street. If he had a pulse and was breathing when EMS gets there, he’s still alive now. That is assuming he died from asphyxiation. Which we will have to wait to confirm.
It’s highly unlikely he died from asphyxiation on the ride to the hospital. The chances of being revived from restraint asphyxia is zero once there’s no pulse.

I just reviewed the video out on fox and really couldn't tell squat from it. I just know one thing here you have a specific demographic group usually in a younger range that continually escalates civil disobedience in the face of those sworn to serve and protect the entire general populace.
Bad things happen and until behaviors change they most likely will continue.
Question: Is this the same Minneapolis police department that had the haji officer that murdered the Australian woman in cold blood because she was white?

He was pronounced in the ambulance, that doesn’t mean he had a pulse when they put him in.
When a pulse is checked while he’s lying there, the anxiety level and urgency of the responders clearly picks up. It seems likely he lost a pulse in the street.

At this point in our history, there is zero excuse for a police officer to not know the danger of positional asphyxiation. There is nothing in our judicial code which justifies the death of people in custody when it could’ve been easily avoided.

Yes. I'm as conservative as a person can be but if you are given authority and abuse it you should be held to a standard of professionalism that is even higher than the general public. The cop's ability to defend that arrest is below zero. Until the cops hold their own to a higher standard we will never get past BLM and rioting and– honestly– we shouldn't. This is a horrible example of a boy in blue thinking laws do not apply to them (the best interpretation) or cold-blooded murder at the worst. Seriously, frick that cop. It's past time that cops are not protected for obviously criminal behavior. Can we do the right thing this time?

Probably not. Time after time, you see many people on this board defending the person doing the killing.

I’ve got friends that are cops and they know my feelings. After 911 with the patriot act and technology that would “make it easier to do their job” and that makes it ok to ignore the 4th amendment.

My best friend of 45-plus years is a judge.
It's fascinating for me to watch the mental justifications he goes through to justify total bullshite in the name of making it easier for LE to do their job.
He went ballistic a year or so ago when Alabama acted like they might decriminalize weed (it was a complete tease...they never really considered it) because he was angry that they would dare take away law enforcement's ability to arrest citizens and put pressure on them to roll on their dealers.
I said, "If all you want is something to be illegal just so that you can use it as leverage on ordinary citizens, make farting illegal. That's easier than weed. You don't even need a drug dog to "signal" a fart. You can just claim it happened and you smelled it. If you attach a significant enough penalty to it, you could arrest lots of people and pressure them to roll on all sorts of other stuff and implicate all kinds of other people."
He didn't think it was funny. But neither did I. The idea that a judge would advocate something being illegal just so cops could use it to pressure people into rolling is not funny at all to me.
Anyway, that's my personal anecdote to illustrate that it's apparently very easy for people who work in law enforcement to lose sight of the constitution.

Yes and no.
I get your point, and it's valid.
But there's another side of this.
The Stanford Prison experiment indicates that putting people in a position of power such as LEOs have creates a psychological state that ensures abuse of it from a high % of those in authority.
What that means is that the idea that what we're dealing with is "a few rotten apples," may actually not be the most accurate assessment.
What it may mean is that it's more valid to say that the psychological environment of being a cop is a barrel that causes most apples to rot.
And the scariest thing about that experiment is that they observed that the students who were the "guards" stopped being abusive assholes as soon as they clocked out of their shift.
So that cop you know who is a genuinely nice guy and would never do anything like that may be exactly who you think he is...when he's off duty. But when he holsters his gun and puts on his shield, he may turn into someone else.

Have you ever posted ANYTHING when a ‘white’ criminal robbed and shot an innocent victim? Or do you just post your disgust when they are black only?
Just curious, you stupid frick.

Comparatively, that is a relatively rare thing. All things considered equal, everyone should be posting more frequently about black on white violence, than white on black violence. Unless you're racist?
