Here's what I've wished for:
I wish Republicans had done what they promised. They had the White House, the House and the Senate, yet a lot of the agenda still didn’t get done. At some point, “the Democrats might win” can’t be the answer to every criticism. Republicans had control and should be judged on what they actually accomplished with it.

You skipped the part that's the real reason we did this. It's not because Iran was going to get a nuke. It's because Israel would nuke them first and if they have to do that, then they're hitting some other spots while the window is open at the same time.
That's what this is actually about. Iran is just a catalyst.

It's funny, I never paid much attention to the JCPOA stuff back then, but realize now actually how smart it was -- it took real technocrats like two years to negotiate it. I heard someone say the other day that Trump should have just gone to the Iranians and said, I may not love this agreement, but get rid of the sunset provisions and I'll extend it. 3.67 enrichment would look pretty good right now.

Well, the democrats are worse. The GOP is only side that you hold accountable. Why is that?
They have no plans for real change because they know what is required will not be supported by voters. Why would anybody decent go through the hassle to get elected just to lose in the next election?
