Trump never said anything about riots. He was talking about liberals being the enemy within and that the national guard should be able to handle them easily. You guys may want to assume he meant to quell riots, but he did not say or imply that.

The question to him was about violence on election day. It was during his interview with Maria Bartiromo. She asked him about the terrorist that was arrested and was plotting an attack on election day and then brought up other criminals who had entered the country. That was the frame of the question about possible danger from violence on election day.

Where did this lie emanate from originally? Does anyone even know at this point? It’s like one leftist reporter repeats a rumor, then other leftists copy it, and then it’s accepted as truth, when in reality Trump either didn’t say the thing they repeated or they took his remarks totally out of context
