The rules are the same for everyone. I got suspended by twitter recently for calling a fictional character in an online game I play a war villian who should be killed.
Suspended for 12 hours.
You can find active cartel accounts posting straight up torture and murder

This isn't legal censorship. It's corporate policy. Media entities aren't required to publish things.

What did he do to incite violent you fricking retard?
He said police were actively hunting and murdering black people for no reason.
So that motivated people to go out and murder police officers, riot for 4 months, cause over a $billion in damage, and get dozens of innocent people killed including a 8 year old shot in front of her family who you've never heard about until now (Secoriea Turner).
Oh wait, no, that was democrats. My bad

That all being said, you gotta draw a line in the sand at some point and after Wednesday's coup attempt that left 4 people dead, the time is now.
If Trump wanted a platform, he shouldn't have repeatedly lied to the American people, robbing them of faith in our fair elections and promoting violence and desperation.
What he did was despicable, anti-American and dies not deserve a platform.
4 dead compared to the 15k that the Venezuelan dictator has killed who still enjoys a platform on Twitter.

1. No one has the right to incite violence against the US government.
2. Private businesses have the right to have some rules about who their customers are.

In response to the last part of your post, please read into what is happening with Parler right now.
which is what? they are being removed by another private company, the government did not shut down Parler.... Google is not the government... again, no censorship, as it directly relates to the 1st amendment fo the US constitution, has occurred...

Hell, a violent insurrection without guns??? What an efffing farce.
Antifa/blm riots have bricks, rocks, bike locks in socks, molotov cocktails and incidiary ieds made from fireworks and were never even labeled riots. Just peaceful protests.
The media sucks balls.

You won't get an argument from me there. It's despicable that any world leader tied to human rights violations, anything of that nature, are allowed on Twitter, and there are quite a few.

Good answer. I'm not a fan of censoring at all. I can't go into it because of it(the topic at hand). And you likely get why.
It's not censoring if you're violating a rule, which is the path they are taking.
Exactly. I despise censorship as much as the next person, but simply isn't that.

Twitter is a private business and has the right to refuse service.

oh lawd...
bro, do you really care about Venezuela, or do you just REALLY not understand that Twitter is a private company and choose what they deem acceptable or not?
just like you can deem whether you want to give them business or not... what's hard to understand about this...

So Twitter endorses torture and murder via the cartels.
Nice!

They may have suspended you, but some left wing blue checks have said a ton of shite that was awful and nothing has happened.

well, the policeman (you know, the guys that you supposedly support), was killed at the hands of this insurrection with a fire extinguisher... so yeah, it was violent... and there were PLENTY of guns... there were people cosplaying in tactical gear and shite, man...

I agree with this, though

Private companies aren't legally allowed to explicitly deny service to protected groups. Donald Trump is not a protected group.

What about the politicians using some of the explosive language and making some of the claims they have concerning the protest?
