Guy obviously never had his finger on the pulse. How can you trust someone so obtuse?

I feel for those who need a politician to give them hope. That’s a terrible existence that more times than not doesn’t end well.

The working class people need an economy to pay their bills. Like I said we had one under Trump. So if someone wants to hope he gets back in or had hope of a future for their country and family when he was in office is not a sad existence. It's called America and it was what it was ment to be. Not a bunch of people sucking off the government tit while celebrating the fall of the greatest nation in the history of the world.

I take care of my family and we definitely get by. I know some who are borrowing money that shouldn't have to considering how hard they work. I also hope they get back on their feet. Not everyone is in the same boat but they are all saying the same thing that they want Trump back. I feel for those who think Ron isn't the establishment choice and think he ever had a chance . But your still hoping right ?

They (GOPe donors) used him. They got him in the race to foil Trump and kill his chances in 2028. Win-win

All the Trumpettes who liked DeSantis until he ran against Trump are low IQ.

I liked li'l ronnie just fine until I was subjected to months and months of being called a trumpette, trumptard, and a cultist by little, stupid arse pukes. Then I asked myself what it was about ronnie's personality that attracted such a large following in the immature, asshat wing of the gop. I decided it wasn't worth much thought - frick ronnie and frick his little supporters. The stink of his supporters rubbed off on him. Not my problem.

I put no hope in any politician. I put the safety and welfare of my family in my hands alone with the help of God.

I avoid the government, government entities and politicians as best I can. No single politician can reverse the damage that’s already been done.

I seriously doubt it.

Again, I’m not well spoken or very literate so I’m not sure how best to explain it. I’ll try once more.

You seem to believe that my saying Trump can’t gain the support of Independents is a CNN talking point. I don’t watch CNN. I don’t watch FOX. Hell, I don’t watch any news.

He can’t win because he’s become the single most divisive candidate in Presidential history.

Now, you can blame that on CNN or the MSM, and I agree to a point. However, much of his inability to gain Independent support is his own fault. He picks fights that have absolutely no merit and bearing on his campaign. It seems to me he takes every negative far too personal…and in turn, makes it personal, when you and I know it’s simply political theatre for the simplistic.

He is the single most divisive figure in politics, and not just amongst Dems. He really should run as a third party candidate and get away from the RNC. And I don’t need CNN to hear and see that.

Trump will be the nominee. All we can do is wait and see how it turns out.

You know that. I wouldn’t bet too much on him being in on the joke.

The title was earned with at least a month of BS before being granted.

SDV doesn’t post in good faith. Reasoning with him is like trying to teach a pig to sing. Apologies to Twain.

This was obvious before he announced, he got suckered by the money crowd into running and filling their coffers.

He had to run. What if Trump had been forced to drop out due to being thrown in jail, removed from the ballot, or some other such nonsense. Then we would have been left choosing between who? Nikki Haley and Chris Christie?

What DeSantis should have done is endorse the MAGA agenda, and not try to discredit Trump as much as he did. He may have alienated enough Trump voters this time around, that they won't go in his direction next time.

After the election, he needs to go back to Florida and keep doing what he has been doing and step in for 2028 with a strong and successful America First agenda.
