Those who don't intend on getting vaccine, if you change your mind, which would you get?

I hate the fact that you can't find unbiased info on the vaccines, so figured the best way to ask it was in the manner that I did. I also assume that people that have taken the vaccine, will probably recommend the one they took regardless of any info available. It's only human nature to push whatever choice you made. I also figured there would be more people on the PT board to find my target audience of those that don't intend on getting the vaccine.
I never take the flu shot and do feel the vaccine process was rushed on this. I also don't like the pushy sales pitch on it, kind of like the used car salesman telling you his price is only good today. With all that said, I'm crawfishing a bit on my stance to rely on my natural immune system and thinking about going ahead and getting one. I guess the game changer for me is that I know someone that ended up in ICU that is 40ish, extremely athletic, and doesn't smoke. As I've heard with other cases, though he is recovering, he will have long term effects from the damage to his lungs. On the flip side, my brother in law who is on chemo caught COVID and was over it pretty quickly. Same can be said for another guy I know in his upper 70's that ends up in the hospital every year with pneumonia. He caught COVID and got over it pretty easily. With that said, if you were going to change your mind, which would you choose and why?

Novavax when it comes out.

Not going to change my mind. I don't need a vaccine that doesn't work for a virus that has a 99% survival rate.

Not taking it. But with a gun to my head: J&J.

Not changing my mind. Called my doctor’s office today. Was told to use Quercetin, Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Zinc as a prophylaxis. If you contract Covid they’ll prescribe Ivermectin or Doxycycline.

Imagine getting a vaccine for something like COVID.

99% of people survive a lightning strike, but I don't golf in a lightning storm.

There's no way in hell I'll take an mRNA vaccine until at least several years have passed. I don't plan on getting any of the others at this time. I'm not in a risk group for COVID, so I'm willing to take my chances with it until more data on the long term effects of the vaccines comes out.

I’ll think about it when an actual vaccine comes out

1) It’s been a gigantic trial for those willing to participate. Anyone at this point in time who speaks as if they know the long term consequences is simply full of shite. No one knows. There’s no way anyone could.
2) That said, if people had been dropping like flies at any point over this past year and a half I would’ve thought “whoa!”. That simply hasn’t happened and while some have gotten very sick or died (like with flu) the overall survival rate has remained extremely, extremely high the entire time.
3) If our elites were consistent in their application of caution and urgency, it’d give me pause for thought but they have been anything but consistent (see our southern border for example A1).
4) If I had zero choice I would probably reluctantly opt for J&J. Namely because the mRNA/long term effects factor of the others and because the mRNAs seem to be especially favored/pushed by our elites and given their history of the past 30 years or so, anything they eagerly push as “good for us” I’m wary. Hard to think of a single thing that group has done that has benefited anyone but themselves.

So going out in public is akin to golfing in a lightening storm?

Hey. You do realize that this is a respiratory illness that has animal reservoirs. Therefore, It will NEVER be vaccinated in to oblivion like the traditional diseases that weve taken vaccines for.
The race to vaccinate makes no sense. In fact, it likely puts evolutionary pressure and makes the virus mutate more quickly.
We screwed up by making this virus transmissible to humans, now we’re compounding that mistake with the fallacy we can eliminate it with vaccines.

Holding out for GlaxoSmithKline or Novavax. If they wanted a bump in vaccine numbers approving these would do it.

J&J is a traditional vaccine and not gene therapy.

None of them.
I don't trust the Government any longer. There is nothing they could say that would make me change my mind.

This. I know how my body reacts to traditional vaccines so I’ll have much more favorable view on this one if the data says it is safe in addition.

I don't bother researching things that I'm not going to buy.

Not even taking it then. It will be the OK Coral at my house and I’m their huckleberry.
