It may have a little to do with the fact that they would prefer not to die in a nuclear holocaust because the retard running the country wants everyone to know how big his button is.

is it really though?

or is this the same type of hyperbole that you so often make fun of the left for?

What's even more sad is the same Sky Screamers completely ignore the fact that a hostile state continually threatens violence and mass murder on the United States, but Trump is just supposed to shut up and take it because that's what Obama did.

Attempting to polarize the public is the opposite of what a leader should be doing

this is actually an interesting discussion b/c it leads to the "Who is leading a more polarizing campaign?" question

if the DEMs, progs, and their coordinated media are going to be polarizing regardless, then the President gains nothing by appeasing them (hell he will probably gain negative by losing support from his back for being a stupid GOPe cuck)

i think if his opposition came into this presidency acting more reasonable, then you wouldn't see nearly the same amount of "political meat" produce on his twitter for his rabid base

Was that your thinking when Obama did it for 8 years?

I must have missed all those tweets where he continually called out members of the opposition and members of the public. If you can find me half the amount of quotes from Obama in 8 years I have found from Trump in one year I would be shocked

When the President openly challenges the integrity of law enforcement, yeah, I'm outraged.

You and I are not different. We're both baffled, just for different reasons. I can't imagine why people are okay with some of the shite that spewed forth from his mouth and his twitter.

So it's okay to be reactionary and be a terrible polarising leader if you believe the opposition started it first?

You have to know that's bulshit anyway. When no one thought that Donald Trump was going to win no one really paid much attention to him and he was out on the attack from the very beginning because he's trying to please a fan base that was full of backlash. It's actually what made him so popular

yeah while antagonizing NK isn't the most ideal response, i don't think anyone truly takes these exchanges as real

i mean it's not like NK had no nuclear program until Trump started tweeting. they've been working on this since Clinton helped them start it in the 90s

you can get into some real meta discussions about the reactions b/c a large portion of the liberal-progressive base DOES want the limp-wristed/weak response that Obama promoted. there are a bunch of reasons for this, from the feminist attack on masculinity to the US/West self hatred of their power.

I really want Trump to come out against some common sense universal evils, just to see that the Left and Dems do. He has done some of that low-key, but I wish he would start doing it more directly. They are almost 100% against everything he pushes, so it would make for an interesting tactic.

You're absolutely right. Obama never said shite cause he was spineless. Trump on the other hand...

you didn't read what i wrote or you're incapable of understanding it

what does Trump gain by acting non-polarized? nothing and possibly negative results

what does Trump lose by acting polarized? nothing. he's not converting any progressives to his cause regardless

this is simple strategic, risk-reward assessmsent

And it's not like the US doesn't have a crystal clear picture of NK's capabilities. They've been waging a behind the scenes effort to isolate NK from its two supporters in China and Russia.

Isn’t it ironic how the MSM and Dems melt over Trumps tweets but never seem outraged at someone like missle boy or the ayatollah’s who are actually commit atrocities against their own people as well as American soldiers?

I would add its a new thing for a POTUS to tweet this much. This POTUS tweets in a very unique style to say the least. And things are going fairly well for the country right now so they have little else to focus on.

It will be interesting to see how the next POTUS uses the tweet.
A precedent may have been set by DJT.
