I want to see it.
I want to see a bunch of sideways-gun-holding dindunuffins with their flags tied around their wrists and their pants tethered just beneath their arse cheeks, taking the fight to the streets against trained US reservists with actual range experience and level-4 plates.
You're talking about a very specific and tiny demographic that cannot hit anything except for innocent victims if their target is more than ten feet away, standing up against heavily armed soldiers that practice pistol shooting between 25 and 75 yards regularly, and are proficient with CQB rifles that are consistently accurate and effective between 400-500 yards.
You're talking about "spray and pray" vs. first-world reservists. It would be over in five minutes. Many of our reservists have actually been in the shite, particularly ARMY and USMC reservists.

Protection of its citizens falls under the duties of the federal government.
