Did Trump really threaten to have the military shoot looters?

Yep and quite frankly there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I imagine most snowflakes like you have never heard such harsh language but it used to be understood that if you looted you could be shot.

Holy shite. I don't know how I feel about this from a principled standpoint, but I wouldn't be violently offended if some Tweetbots were charged with treason.

Authoritarians love extrajudicial justice, especially if it means they get to kill a black person for stealing a fricking TV. You trailerparkers love your small government until they're being huge, then you love them some more.

There have been 2 arrests made related to this protest.

The CNN crew and the pawn shop owner who defended himself and his business.

Do you think that is just or no? Do you think that’s “big government”?

I think it takes more than 24 hours to determine and the fact you think there are answers, now, to those questions is an indication you're not sure what justice is, yourself. Being arrested is like 1/3rd of the equation.

But in our system of government those municipalities make arrests, a DA will choose whether or not to prosecute, etc. Lack of justice is the lack of their involvement. It's a high school graduate who can't understand the constitution determining that a certain crime didn't need DA approval to gauge reasonableness of charges based on evidence. Nope. It's, "I'm a representative of the government, you committed something I see as a crime, and now you are open to slaying." Arrests, sure. Shooting back if being shot at? Sure. But these are American citizens with inalienable rights. If you don't like those rules, sorry. Move.

Is THAT justice? Punishment fits the crime, sure. But dumbfrick cops aren't the arbiter.

Bonus: Shooting people will result in the destruction of black trust of the GOP forever. What little trust there was to begin with will be gone. The threats alone say more than any of you ideologues will ever admit.

Also, it's the same message I'd sent to people upset it took the Abrey murderers 3 months to get arrested...clamoring on about systemic racism or the justice system. Motherfricker, justice is slow. Who fricking taught you it was fast? For that matter, when did they stop teaching civics?

I think I’ve seen enough to know that arresting a business owner while ignoring the town burning down isn’t justice. It may be what Minnesota thinks is legally correct, but it’s not “just”.

I have absolutely no problem with shooting looters. I am fine with cops standing down during a protest, but once you start burning buildings down and robbing stores, you are a fricking criminal.

Brb trying to imagine all of us on the right being ok with Obama threatening to have the military summarily execute people for theft.

You can say what you want. Nobody in the middle is voting for Trump if he means that.

Would Twitter prefer we don’t warn them first?

People like yourself being okay with killing minorities over crimes that would otherwise put them in jail for maybe a year is the exact reason these riots are taking place, genius.
