They seem to be sparse in Eastern Canada and in the metro areas (especially B.C. cities), but it really appears that the majority of people in Saskatchewan, Alberta, NT and Yukon want to secede from greater Canada and be their own thing.
I follow some of their movements and I even occasionally post messages of support, though I caution them against joining the US until we get our own problems figured out. For now, I hope for their successful independence and pray that one day we find ourselves in alignment enough to formally unify.
The Alberta Independence Movement in particular has some real steam behind it but, rightfully, they have their concerns that any secession will be thwarted by shenanigans and government interference. The overall whole of Canada cannot survive without the resources of the middle regions of Canada. That comes with its own set of problems because if there's a dissolution, eastern Canada would be forced to welcome in outsiders like the Chinese just to stay afloat. Thankfully that possibility looks to have already been addressed, since Trump shored up deals to essentially militarize Greenland, so we basically have Canada surrounded from all sides at this juncture in time.
In the big picture and in spite of what the propagandist media would have us believe, the US has outmaneuvered Canada and outplayed them masterfully at every turn.
