“Conservatives” put them there by continuing to concede to the left instead of holding the line. This shite didn’t happen overnight. It was a steady drip of abandoning principles by the GOP that lead us here. This. Conservatives need more mass appeal. Shunning away the LGBT community and their allies is not politically smart. There are plenty of conservatives who don't really care about sexual orientation. I'd imagine it is probably close to a majority.
