Ill donate a couple hundred round of .22 long.

I dont know. You can hang a bunch of folks with the same rope.

Firing squad may be the most humane, if executed properly (no pun intended). An (accurate) headshot is instantaneous.

Whereas, a potassium chloride injection is the equivalent of a heart attack that ultimately prevents the flow of blood, which prevents the delivery of oxygen to the heart muscle cells, in which each cell dies a relatively slow, painful death, like you are being stabbed to death.

Or if we want to be "humane" we could just give them some police seized heroin or fentanyl. Give them a little to make them go to sleep then shove about 6 oz into them.

Poof. Dead prisoner.

Leave the method up to the victim's family.

This is the logical extension of it.

Firing squad, along with hanging, is an approved method per the Supreme Court but I’m only aware of one or two executions via firing squad in the modern US.

If they claim that the three drug cocktail is cruel and unusual in addition to costly due to a refusal to sell to states, you can always replace them with wood and rope or a hood and five rifles with ammo.

Screw, "humane" methods. I vote for the most painful, barbaric method available. And televise it. It's not a deterrent anymore. It should be both a punishment, and a deterrent.

That would be a negative. He is a new jersey yankee. You're probably thinking about POS jim Clyburn who only comes home for his fish fry.

I'll never understand why anyone cares how the person is killed.

Larry Wayne Jenkins (they always have 3 names) stabbed to death his mom, dad, uncle, little brother, the family dog, the neighbor, the Qwik-E Mart guy, then shot at 2 cops, and stabbed a prison guard with a screwdriver.

It's very important that Larry Wayne not suffer.

meh. I am sure they just want the guy dead. Let the criminal decide to make it go smoothly.

If he gives up a few rounds of appeals give him a range of exotic options like being dropped from a plane or weather balloon.

I always thought that having a huge concrete block dropped on you would be fairly instant, albeit a bit messy.

All they need to do is televise one electric chair execution and somebody would make the lethal injection drugs before the second chair.

I ride the fence on executions, but cooking somebody from the inside out is not the way to do it. Not to mention possibly living through the first shock.
