Exactly. You have clown kommies like Toomer Depolorable, Tigerhuskers and Groypers like Adam Banks who are wrong about everything being the most vocal

They are the worst of the worst

drone defense tech needs to have a very large budget

A difficult ask. A big problem too.

EMPs is a bulletproof solution, but they would affect things other than drones unless we have some form of technology that can highly directionalize and limit the range of an EMP blast. In open atmosphere in an uncontrolled environment, I don't think it's even physically or theoretically possible.

Our nuclear delivery systems are archaic on purpose though, if that's any consolation for whatever reason. A lot of analog components and specialized shielding systems that are supposed to make our most powerful ordnance delivery systems "EMP-proof". Make no mistake, governments the world over have quietly recognized and prepared for the potentially catastrophic after-effects of EMP deployment.

I can throw a cast net with the best of fishermen, but right now I think I'll stick with my Binelli M4 anti-drone defense system.

I know we're working on increasing production, but after a generation (sadly, mine) of outsourcing everything and treating vocational education like it was only for dumb students, we're way behind the curve, and it will probably take another generation just to return to where we WERE, much less where we NEED TO BE.

Give Anduril some big time contracts and they will fix all of this

Page One, and everyone's favorite future IPO gets mentioned.

PS--They just got $74 million from DoD to expand their Mississippi solid rocket motor plant.

THIS!

Lot a back-slapping going on in DOW for weaponized drones, and yes they are a superb complimentary weapons system. Leveraging their integration with our arty, missiles/rockets, mortars, and fixed wing/rotary wing fires makes us more lethal.

COUNTER-UAS tech/systems are a must to protect our critical assets (flight line aircraft, ships, personnel, etc.). This is going to be our Pearl Harbor if we are not prepared for it. We already have unidentified sUAS's flying over some of our military installations and we must become more capable & resilient to ID, track and engage them.

If we pull this off decisively then China will play nice for a little bit. They play the long game and won’t make a move on Taiwan if they know they will get 100% of our response.

It's much more likely that the US and others will have to bail China out of a depression to prevent a global meltdown.

We have to work like there’s a day we will have to fight China and in the next few years. Shipyards need to be running 24/7 365 at full capacity. Our missile and air defense production needs to increase tenfold which means new production lines need to be built. Drone production of all types as well as drone defense tech needs to have a very large budget to combat China. Artillery shell production needs to be 1.25 - 1.75 million shells per year. frick Europe since they seem to hate the U.S. because we make them pay for our weapons to go to Ukraine. The times of Europe hiding under our military umbrella is over so we have to stockpile weapons at a staggering rate over the next 5 years.

Cool. Paid for how?

I was gonna float my nets up with balloons and then use my shotgun for strays. No plug and turkey loads.
