This has me thinking about illegals in Florida

Seems like Cuba will not accept them back unless there is an unusual circumstance.

Us has been working to deport Cuban Nationals. Just seems like Cuba can accept or reject them.

This is a clip from a recent Miami herald article in 2022.
“In these types of deportations, the United States contracts charter flights to send people to the island. The Cuban government does not accept such flights, according to the Miami Herald newspaper.”

They are deported according to a few articles. Mostly for Cuban Nationals who are found guilty of crimes.

Cuba, refuses to take them.
I guess they don’t want people who commit crimes in their country.

Big question to try and understand this:

1. Are the Cubans that are here illegal? Have they tried the proper channels?

2. The venezualans clearly violated the law by not going to the nearest country seeking asylum.

Big difference.

Cubans are treated differently.......

The Cuban Adjustment Act, effective since November 2, 1966, allows Cuban natives or citizens who have been physically present in the United States for at least a year to apply to become lawful permanent residents.

Hispanics of the southwest are far different than those of Florida. And within Florida you have old Cubans, and the Marieletos (the people who came over on the boatlift, depicted by Scarface). Also rarely mentioned is the huge population of Puerto Ricans who have migrated over the last 20 years.

The US govt had a tax law that basically waived federal tax on manufactured goods in PR, it ended about 15 years ago and since then over a million people have migrated, mostly to central florida to the western coast.

And then the mix of hispanics from south America over the years, lots of wealthy drug dealers, many many dictators and their families and such.

I laugh...they cry when you hear kackles talk about investing in central america to stop the illegals from coming. Cut off the diplomatic visas so momma and the kids cant stay in their 10 million dollar condos in south florida and do their shopping, and watch the dictators put a stop to the immigration, but instead we have the tail waggin the dog.....and we get to launder billions through some govts that would make Ukraine look like pristine by comparison.

That change came in the last couple weeks of the Obama administration. Wet foot/dry foot is no longer our policy, so there are illegal Cubans now.

Do you know this difference between Cubans coming to America and everyone else? Hint: it's a Fed law.

So your saying illegal immigrants have turned Florida red ? Democrats going so far left have turned a lot of the Spanish population to become republicans. Why would shipping illegal immigrants out of the states offend legal immigrants? Desantis should find a way to use give send go to raise money to pay for the illegal immigrant removal. That way when democrats get mad he tell them to come sign paperwork that they will be responsible for the illegal immigrants. Democrats are all talk . They could care less about the illegal immigrants.
