Thought this site was all for WFH....
Positive posts about WFH get all kinds of upvotes, while negative posts get all kinds of downvotes... on every board.
Every time I have ever said anything negative about WFH, everyone blasts me...
Guess not anymore.
WFH is a totally different animal with a government job than with a private company. In a private company there is an owner or someone who answers to the owner who has a vested interest in making sure their WFH people are productive. In the government that accountability doesn’t exist.
Many WFH federal workers make a 6 digit salary for doing almost nothing, and then get a second job with all that free time.

Their employer ended work from home options, what’s the problem?
Private sectors make changes too, you either accept the employer’s policy or move on. I don’t care one way or the other if someone WFH or not. What does the employer want or the job require?
Change is hard but WFH in government jobs was never intended to be permanent as far as I can tell. I think what’s different here is our tax dollars are paying for their office space and their salaries, so I can understand people having negative responses to WFH even if I refrain from criticizing it. I’m sure they didn’t need propaganda to make that assessment though. They are basing it off their own life experiences where the majority don’t WFH.
You trying to shame folks with your, it’s the propaganda, is weak at best.

Yeah, They should notice.... almost every large company [including mine] have backtracked, calling people into the office for better productivity. Sure, some aspects of it suck - such is life. Perhaps they should look for other work. Plenty of smaller companies still using WFH as a perk.

If you feel shame for buying into it, that's on you.
Remote work is where we're headed. Elitists are trying to fight it. I embraced it and will continue to win out over those who haven't.

I "work" wherever I want. Sorry if you don't have that option.

Entitlement and a loss of control.
They just realized they are employees, not employers. Poor things might need therapy.

His wife is the very stereotype of someone who post false things on social media for attention.
If she doesn't get the attention she wants those kids are going to discover they are "trans"

Doesn’t DJT work from home?
No?
From what suburb does he commute to the Oval Office from?
Or does he just go downstairs from the residential quarters?

No he lives at the office.
If you have dozens of co-workers in your house...
It's an office.
