AI is having zero impact in the workforce, it is just an excuse companies are using to trim fat and over-hiring.

This is completely wrong. We are seeing private credit business loan funds suffering runs of withdrawals and having to limit them. Investors cannot flee these investments. Why do they want to? Because AI is destroying the business models of many companies. The investors are appalled at the risks to which their investments are suddenly being exposed.

I invested in two tech company startups (shouldn’t have. Dumb decisions). Both have failed. One failed before AI came on, so it wasn’t to blame. However, if it was still in business and thriving its days would be numbered because a single programmer, using AI, could create a software package, equivalent to this company’s IP, in just a few weeks. This is IP that cost about $2.5 million to develop. How do you sell that for enough to cover the capital investment? The second company has effectively been run out of business by AI.

Trump 2.0 has been a dumpster fire. Even the ardent defenders on here know it.

The severe increase in the "so we should have voted for Kamala?" meme proves that.

That's the whitest of white flags.

Government jobs and jobs for illegal aliens are declining. Private sector jobs for US citizens are increasing.

Anyone not admitting this is being willfully obtuse.

I bring this up every time there is one of these threads, I dont know why GOP does not use this, not only is it affecting US citizen employment in a positive way, its proof positive that illegals are self deporting.

Remember all these illegals being given SS numbers for work purposes instead of an ITIN number (which is what it was established for). BLS picks up those illegals as offical employment numbers.

Given this fact, Id say its a great employment picture that we have positive numbers while millions of illegals are leaving the workplace.

Isn't the tech industry having the most layoffs?

Is this california math? You count the unemployment in one sector and dont count the gains in others?

Im kidding. I did hear Palmer Luckey talk about how his cronies. with the free interest rates had invested in all sorts of nonsense and are now cutting back on these jobs. Huge dei departments, he said "whatever happened to that virtual art nonsense that was all the rage?".
