Your vocabulary doesn't scare me. I know plenty of stupid people who try to use big words.

Cheating in elections wasn't why the current Democrat party purposely screwed us in Q4 of 2025. It was something else you no doubt supported.

Wait, why am I telling you. You are smart and already know this.

It was theoretically over health care specifically Obama Care subsidies.

Thank you for actually continuing a discussion that has something to do with the 4th quarter of 2025 and the reasons for the lack of GDP growth.

I have no idea what the current tantrum the Dems are throwing has to do with the 4th quarter of 2025 but maybe if I use some 50 cent words and talk about fake electors and Elon Musk it will all become crystal clear.

The dems definitely shut it down and are insane. The fact that our economy virtually tanked because the government shut down is even scarier. They tell us the federal government makes up around 30% of our overall economy but I'm afraid it's much more after that Q4 result. Not good.

Is the economy good, no. Is it ever as bad as they make it sound, no.

AI is having zero impact in the workforce, it is just an excuse companies are using to trim fat and over-hiring.

Tariffs were not near the drama our panicans predicted.

Globalist are the only true issue right now trying to tank the economy.

Pretty much.

Plus, a lot of illegals have been fired because employers don't want to run the risk. Also, a bunch have been deported. That plus government jobs going away is impacting job numbers.

I agree. I also think there are other factors most of which have been discussed in this thread.

I began by simply making the point this was a contributing factor and it certainly didn't help.

From there I've been jousting against an obvious windmill of distraction and lack of knowledge that has decided to attempt (either deliberately or through overall stupidity) to derail the thread from the actual discussion.

It’s amazing how much leftist discourse is just them pretending not to understand things, thus making discourse impossible.

If you’re blaming the govt shutdown, ICE funding was the biggest point of contention.

DHS has been the most inefficient it has ever been this term… spending more to deport less lol. The head of the dept was just replaced.

But go ahead & blame Dems.

I'm really not going to continue a discussion with somebody who's either this dishonest or this uninformed

Anyone who wants to continue to evaluate your honesty or intelligence can do a quick google search of the 2025 govt shutdown and evaluate it vs your statement above vs. my position on what the shut down was over (health care specifically funding of Obama care subsidies).

I don't know how to interact with someone who is as wrong as you are. I can't make sense out of nonsense. Carry on.

Edit: this is from wikipedia (sorry I can't figure out how to link the source)

"Democrats in the Senate opposed the Republican appropriations bill because it did not include an extension of expanded Affordable Care Act subsidies that were scheduled to expire in November 2025.[a] The bipartisan agreement that ended the shutdown put the matter up to a vote in December.[10][11]"

I was thinking of the more recent shutdown. Yes, the Q4 shutdown was due to ACA issues related to budget cuts earlier in the year.

That is still a mess of this admins’ own making — they cut too aggressively, wound up with a ton of uninsured, and realized too late in the game to fix it (was already open enrollment when they went back to the table …would have been a logistical nightmare to try and extend the period at that point).

You’re not so bad, we were just talking about different things. I rarely day-post, and when I do I am often distracted.

You've just doubled down on your stupidity (it's not ignorance as you were given the chance to learn before responding, but you didn't). In order to pass it, they need a filibuster-proof majority of 60 votes.

Currently, the GOP holds only 53 seats.

yes we were/are.

I was talking about how Senate Dems shutdown the government for half of the 4th quarter of 2025 and how this most likely had a negative effect on the GDP the OP wanted to tout as being "bad". you know, the subject of this thread.

You were (and are) talking about something, something. You've had it pointed out by any number of posters that your understanding of the way govt works is flawed. You continue to avoid and talk about how the Trump admin acted as though that has something to do with the SHUTDOWN OF 2025 which occurred IN THE SENATE.

I suspect this is more than just being distracted. I think you have an agenda and every something something you have to say revolves around that agenda.

Either way you are not presenting yourself in a very favorable light relative to people taking you seriously here or in future threads.

But good luck with that.

I would actually vote for Bloomberg, but CNBC certainly isn’t bad. I would suspect of most people on this board don’t know the difference between a CNBC and MSNBC.
