Vance really had one objective: Tie Kamala Harris to the two things the DNC has been making her avoid like the plague- Joe Biden, and the last 4 years. Mission accomplished.
It sounds obvious because she was indeed Biden's #2, but she's basically trying to masquerade as a newcomer with new ideas.
Vance sank that ship, last night.
For his part, Walz did poorly. Clearly confused at times, and was totally tripped up by the question involving his whereabouts during the Tiananmen Square protests.
Then there's the part where he said he's "become friends with school shooters." What?
Terrible optics.

The days of landslides are over. 1980 is not happening again for either party. It was a different country back then demographically and way less politically polarized.
Right now there's more Democrats than Republicans nationwide. Kamala will win the popular vote no matter how bad she is.
