Let's try this another way. Anybody who runs on Trump policies is going to get the full treatment because the fight is against globalists and neocons.

I look at it this way. We need Trump right now. There is a shite ton of nasty clean up to do in our government, and he has the "frick you" attitude we need in the WH to finally turn around the establishment and fight the deep state.
When/if he does this successfully, it sets up a Vance/Vivek ticket in '28 that could easily go 8 years, then a Vivek/insert name ticket in '36
If this gets played right and Trump gets in, we could be looking at a 20 year run of leadership this country desperately needs.

Trump has demonstrated he's willing to stand up to the uniparrty and the corruption in DC. That's why they are so desperate to keep him out. Any other option for a GOP candidate would have been status quo for DC funk.
Also, Trump just being Trump allowed for the corruption in DC to expose itself. It's been on full display for 8 years in every illegal and corrupt scheme aimed at "getting Trump".
On top of this, who has more motivation to go after the corruption than Trump, considering everything they have thrown at him.......
Also, Trumps demonstrated his commitment, courage, and ability to stay in front of their efforts.
He's beaten them in every way.

There was nobody standing up at that time to challenge the uniparty.
There was a massive amount of people looking for somebody to stand up for actual citizens. Nobody at that time was. They were all globalists and unending war people.

But in two elections he was out polled by a Democrat. He won the first election by narrowly winning a handful of key states and lost the second election by narrowly losing a handful of states.
Beating Hillary was harder than beating Harris. Beating Joe was hard because of Covid and the left wing media lies that the left ginned up.
This election by far should be the easiest of the three to win. Biden had to drop out, Harris hasn’t won a single primary election, and she is basically a symbol; yet Trump is struggling.
The OP is correct, any Republican candidate that fought his way through the primaries and win would be a winning candidate given these circumstances.
