Trump was way way way better in 2016 though.

He's def lost a step and a half, but he fathered this movement and he picked the right guy to carry the torch when he leaves.

He's going to be a good CEO and we need his toughness still. JDV will learn a ton watching him for a few years.

If not for TRUMP, we wouldnt have gotten 8 years of media blatant bias, which led to everything including Elon buying twitter. The MSM would be out in unison slandering and lying about JD right now and no one of import would dare speak out against it for fear of being chewed up by the machine. You owe him your country. He earned another term. He doesn't want it. He is doing it for you. He doesn't care if you like him.

You are blind and ignorant as hell if you think they wouldn't just lie and slander any other candidate. They would come up with the same fake project 2025, national abortion, mean to much immigrant children shite they always do every election cycle. muh womens rights! muh childrens! Muh pre existing conditions!

The Biden/Harris record is enough to drive turnout. People are suffering and realize where this country is headed.

Just like it did with Reagan/Carter if you have an articulate, likeable candidate.

What you fail to realize Trump has brought in a new working class demo into the GOP. He may have lost the neocons but those numbers are small compared to the working class demo. What’s going to be interesting is whether or not GOP candidates after Trump can maintain or grow the working class

Great post agree 100%

Trump was great and is still the CEO to start this

JDV is the guy to continue it. And I'd love to see either Sarah Huckabee or Vivek be the next GOP VP nominee

Just shows you how bad of a candidate Trump actually is. If he isn’t running away with the election from Kamala that says a lot.

9 years later and it's still the same whining Repukes that think they're part of the DC club.

I understand your point but one of the appealing things about Trump is that he’s himself. He exudes strength and masculinity. People are attracted to that.

Yup. Hispanics in particular. We needed Trump to open that door and he did.

It's crazy how both JDV and DeSantis are both great with interviews but only JDVs skills translated to the debate stage

Trump only exists as a political force because the gop has been such a disaster. He became the base’s way of saying frick you to the party. You can’t polish turds like McCain Romney and heir apparent Jeb, and shite the bed when we give you congress and not eventually get pushback. Don’t blame Trump for being Trump. Blame the gop establishment.

Trumps only saving grace is his record of his first three years. That is the only thing saving him. That and he's running against a disaster of an administration. Worse than Carter.

I pray it is enough.

The numbers would be the same if you had Jesus Christ on the ticket. There's about a 47% portion of the population that cannot think through things so they confuse their emotional feelings about a subject as a position.

I'm going to take this example and run with it.

Yes, you could literally put Jesus on the ticket. But if you put an (R) behind his name, the media will paint him as the son of Satan in the public eye.

What I mean is, is the there will NEVER again be a fair election for the pubs, or conservatives, until the media is brought to heel.
And then ground to dust beneath it.

Well that and his machismo has opened the door to a GOP Hispanic majority that has been our party's goal since 2000.

It's ironic that initially the reason why Romney and Jeb refused to support Trump was because they thought he was going to sink the future of the party when in fact only Trump could have picked that lock with his toughness.

Do you honestly think Trump is a strong candidate? He has minimal weaknesses? He makes it hard for the opposition to run against him?

No, he is a very flawed and troubled candidate that I will vote for again for the 3rd time in a row. But that is just how bad the other side is, not that Trump is outstanding.

Not really. Some people are struggling but there's no strong consensus from independents that it's Harris fault or that things are so bad that it's more important than abortion and other social issues.

Dems have convinced entire generations corporate greed and any republicans are the root of all evil.
