I'm not sure on Newsom in Cali, but it is certainly true for the 4 Northern governors.

I believe the boats were only open to non-covid patients. At least that is true for the military provided ships.

I didn’t hear much about California but in his social media posts about wearing masks people were ripping into him about nursing homes.

The boats were meant for non-Covid cases until NY authorities sent people to the ship infected with Covid. Ship was worthless at that point.

Initially but that was to keep non COVID in hospitals and temp hospitals. Everything that I heard and read said they weren’t fully utilized either. There is no good excuse for what he did.
The PA person took his/her mom out of her nursing home. They knew what they were doing.
