I've been online since the 1980's.

*looks around

Still online today.

*looks out window

Nope, no dead bodies laying in the streets.

And during those times you were posting on an internet that adhered to the principles of net neutrality.

I've read so much lately about how bad the internet and social media have been to our culture by degrading social discourse.

And about how our fat kids need to get offline and out on the playground.

So if abolishing NN will cause people to spend less time on the internet, wouldn't that be a good thing?

Dumb. You act like we didn't have internet for all those years before Obama's commie internet scheme.

Obama codified into law what was already taking place. Net neutrality existed in practice since inception.

WatchESPN was launched in 2010. I'm going to assume everything else in your sentence is BS too

So why did we need a law that made it like it already was?

This comes down to who I trust more to regulate the Internet. The federal government or the free market.

It's not even close.

The only reason Obama pushed this was to gain government control of the Internet.

I'll take my chances with the free market thank you.

It wasn't a law. It was a regulation passed by an unelected board.

Since you led with an insult, does that mean you concede the argument already?

If it's repealing something that happened during the Obama administration these right wing nut jobs here are going to jizz all over themselves. Even if it's something that doesn't help them.

So turn it off and actually do something. You derps are getting intellectually constipated over what amounts to a passive form of entertainment. Like a snotty kid getting their smart phone taken away. Get a hobby. Read a book. Volunteer with some local charity..take a nap. Grow up.
