This boards reaction to the net neutrality decision is sad

Those of you thinking this is a victory while posting on an INTERNET MESSAGE BOARD are complete morons. The only people who benefit from this decision are the owners of cable companies since they can now price gouge you even more. I hope you guys don't use Netflix or other streaming services.

Somehow I was able to sign up and post on TD from 2008-2015 before our Lord and Savior Net Neutrality descended from heaven.

Streaming services weren't nearly as popular back then.

Well, the issue is that this is another area that most of them have no clue about. Pride tells them to just agree with whatever the majority of trump supporters agree on, while logic, logic left a long time ago.

Do you own, or work for a cable company? If no then you should be against this decision. It is literally designed to hurt you, and give them money... this isn't complicated.

Love how people are acting like 2014 was the stone age.

I love these glib, baseless responses.

Yea way to being up one out of the umpteen amount of streaming services we now have.
There was no WatchESPN, ppl bought DVDs and bluray--now you can just buy a digital copy and stream it from home in 4k,
Youtube didn't have a TV option,
Hulu just started exploding,
PlayStation didn't have a TV option,
Sling TV was a baby,
Apple tv Chromecast firestick etc were all very new or not even around.

Seems "the Board" is mostly against the repeal. Your title is inaccurate.

Dumb. You act like we didn't have internet for all those years before Obama's commie internet scheme.
