That’s not the definition of an echo chamber. This board is obviously right wing and quite biased to it but you are allowed to spew your stupid nonsense all the time on here. I see it often and no one is stopping you.

GumboPot is generally correct -- this is not an echo chamber and liberal views are present on the board.

I have been posting on this board since early 2004 (joined TD.com after the 03 championship and naturally gravitated toward the poli board), which I'm pretty sure makes me one of the longest-standing posters here.
I have watched as the "conservative" position has radicalized. Liberal opposition is no longer met with debate but with flaming -- which is an older internet-speak word that means something like "policing group norms with hostility and ridicule."
It is election season, so liberals are back. But in normal times, they generally avoid this board now. I count myself among that group. TIFWIW.

The admins are definitely MAGA. For a while I wondered if it was all about traffic and money (see the comment about the Q thread). But no ... from Chicken on down, they are sympatico to the MAGA worldview.
I will give them this -- they rarely put their thumb on the scale the way that you describe. They do seem to be pretty strong on free speech. So cheers for that, mods
