This board has a concern over "concern trolls" problem. A few people make a couple of statements critical of this administration's very public failure on an issue that is important to millions of us, and MFers are crying and acting like we hate Trump now and have completely given up on this administration etc., which is MUCH more of an overreaction than anyone bitching a little bit about the legitimate and disappointing Epstein files fumble.

it's really not those influencers fault. when he held up that notebook, they hadn't even had a chance to peruse it yet. he was brought into the whitehouse for a meeting with ALL the A-list staffers, including Trump and Vance. They were under the impression THEY were going to be the media that would help disseminate the evils of this case.
so when they all got outside and a huge gaggle of cameras were there for a different purpose, they got pumped about their position. they didn't know those binders weren't really full of new information.
it was much more on upper WH brass for acting a little too fast... i think they thought this would force the issue among all the rogue fedbois

The Veruca Saltification of a portion of the MAGA base has gotten out of hand lately, and I'd venture a guess that it's been the non-stop winning we've seen from the 47 Admin since Nov. 5 that's spoiled them.
Was yesterday a feint to out some of the weasels? It's certainly one explanation. I hope that's the case, and it's definitely more on-brand with what we've been able to see from them in the past 30 days.
Maybe it did turn out to be some degree of unforced error - that's not impossible, but something tells me that given the prodigious amount of time to plan for these various steps once the flag dropped on Jan. 20, there's definitely more at play here than seems to be reflected in the hottest of hot takes from our message board intelligentsia.

Loomer was certainly salty yesterday for not being picked, but she turned out to be right. The New York Post apparently had the scoop on everyone and the first person I saw angry and accusing the binders of having nothing new was APL, who cited the NYP.
