It all comes down to who has enough money to stick around until the convention. It will go to a second round where the super delegates can vote and an establishment consensus pick will be selected. Biden/Harris or some combination of Harris, Warren, or maybe Booker would be my guess at this stage.

I despise Trump, but do you really think that Trump wouldn’t rake Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, Elizabeth Warren, or Bill “76% Disapproval Rating” DeBlasio over the coals? At least 3/4 of the Democrats are completely unelectable. They try to play Trump’s game and fail miserably. The strategy is not to play his game and shrug it off. Buttigieg and Biden understand this. Almost all the other Democratic candidates don’t.

I don't agree with the majority of your reasons, but I agree he's not a slam dunk.
He's riding on name recognition, strong support from older black voters, and the narrative that he's the most electable. He's got no room to convert other support though, and voters to lose with candidates promoting a vision past "it'll be more of the Obama years". See him lose Iowa and NH, and the notion of his electability fades.
