All true but Troy was widely shat on at the time. There were so many better epics (Gladiator, LOTR) and Troy just frankly wasn’t as good.
I thought it was a fun flick tho. Saw it in theaters, no regrets.

“Into the Wild Frontier” is a fantastic series, not only was Colter the 1st recorded white man to see Yellowstone, but a teenaged legendary mountain man Jim Bridger was one of the two men left behind to watch over Hugh Glass. Believing an Indian attack was imminent and Glass had no chance of survival, they left him after taking all his gear and rifle. Glass forgave Bridger due to his youth and the fact he was just following orders, not so much for the other guy.

I cancelled Netflix for the same reasons 9 months ago and have zero regerts. My daughter was visiting last weekend and logged into her account and I was checking out the offerings and it’s the same tired crap. Female or minorities in superhero roles or major rewrites of history based on some oppressed minority that never existed in that historical period.
