Just go with what Lousiana has. It's smooth and gets tallied up by midnight. It's one of the few things this state does well.
I never thought I would say this, but Louisiana should be a model on how to do it right.

We’ve got machines like these that can count 1500 bills per minute with almost 100% accuracy, detect counterfeits and band the bills but we can’t come up with a way to get better than 95% accuracy on a ballot count within 48 hours? Every Walmart cash office and casino can figure out how to count vast sums of cash daily but Arizona can’t figure out how to count ballots once every 2 years?

No to paper voting and hand counting because it takes too long.

No to machine voting - even though it too has been what we have used for decades.
And yet almost all of the rest of the 50 states have counted theirs already. But a state of 3 million can't seem to get it right.
frick you.

Dude people don’t undercount all the time.
You might.
How many people were there? Probably 20.
There were 16.
See. People do that shite all the time.

Stop with the insults DMAN1968 please, I didn't insult you.
BTW - You are wrong. Actually almost none of the states have in fact completed their full counting. They are all still counting.
The reason is that we don't know about it is because if Canidate A right now has 780,000 votes and candidate B has 130,000 and 300,000 remain to be counted (as is the case in these states - though of course I made up those numbers as an illustration) the counting will continue at a leisurely pace because, while in these places we actually still do not know the actual final tally/count we do already know who won. Candidate B simply can't win anymore. So what if it takes a week to find out the actual "down to the last vote" totals.
In Arizona the races are so tight (and in Colorado and Nevada) that we simply have a spotlight on them and think they are tardy. In fact they are just very "purple - could go either way" states.

I've been around a pretty good while. Long enough to know that this hasn't been the norm...ever...even in tight races.
There is no "think they are tardy".

These should be GOP voters.
Should be, but who is to say when these ballots were created? They should isolate those additional ballots and give an accounting of how they broke in terms of Dem and Republican....compared to the other 275K.

Paper ballots are being fed through archaic scantron machines handled by 70 yr old volunteers. You ever see old ppl use the self-checkout line?
My mom worked elections before she retired. What you are saying is not untrue.
