Unclear. There is some reporting that it was born a male named Samuel Hyde and switched to Natalie whatever. Police chief said he didn't know if it was transgender or not.

I don’t care what she/he is. If she got the gun from her parents stash then her parents must go to jail. This is not complicated. Pass a dam law now that if ur kid gets access to your unsecured firearm and kills others then the parents must do serious jail time.
