if i were a fiction author or filmmaker, my next workpiece would be about a benevolent dictator that rounds up all redditors and ships them off to somalia and broadcasts their attempt at survival. "the Running Man 2: They/Them". its a working title

I'm sure they will change their attitudes if they found out that he was a Rep.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, evil delights in the suffering of others. If this murder excites you, turns you on or brings you joy, it is because there is evil in your heart. Evil is no longer hiding itself among us and that should scare the shite out of people.

…, it’s Obamacare that has done great harm

I agree Obamacare has done great harm. However, it seems a byproduct of this crazy idea that we all MUST have healthcare as provided by the conglomeration of doctors/hospitals/insurance companies.

What about the idea that we are each responsible for our own health and do what is best for ourselves?

Man, that healthy 34 year old who got blind sided by a drunk driver and broke their hip is totally responsible for their medical bills.

That healthy person who got diagnosed with cancer should totally be responsible.

That healthy 50 year old who was diagnosed with Parkinson's probably should have done better.

Are you that fricking stupid?

go ahead and make this a right vs left issue as opposed to a upper class vs middle class/lower class issue.

The upper class was the aristocracy and no longer exists as a force in society. What you have instead are very rich middle class people instead, like the CEO, or like the killers family.

This is what liberalism was about, it was a way for the middle class (rich merchants at least) to use their wealth to assert control over society. Pushing out the church and the warrior class which had previously dominated it.

The killer actually touches on this indirectly, he points out that the CEO had a parasitic value system, he was getting rich at the expense of society. And this why merchant led societies aren’t good places to live. People like that have no business being near power because they’ll use it to enrich themselves at the expense of society. They have no sense of a larger society or a greater good. In a functional system the elite values self sacrifice and has a sense of obligation to the people they rule. Ideally, they act from a sense of love, like Trump does.

CEO killer. I’m not surprised. He is a clone of Bill Ayer’s, whose daddy was CEO of Edison. Lots of money no discipline from father. They say they hate capitalism but they love the benefits it gives them. Remember the little terrorist, Patty Hearst. Ayer’s and Hearst deserved life both involved in murder. Now Ayer’s ( Obama’s) mentor teaches at college. This is our society folks.

The left loves the murder of babies so the fact that they are celebrating the murder of the CEO is not surprising.

Do you know what insurance is?

Why am I more responsible for your health than you, in your mind?

Oh. I didn't realize that. Sorry, I guess his cold blooded murder is ok then. Thanks.

Why can a doctor bill for doing the same service for two different patients at the same time?

Why does a procedure cost more in one state vs another?

Why do hospitals get non profit status and pay 0 taxes while making a profit?

The guy is from a rich family, isn’t he?

Luigi had more white privilege than the guy he shot; wealthy parents, private school, Ivy League education, advanced degree...was just living the rough life in Hawaii surfing, nailing tourists and getting an allowance from Daddy.

The dead guy was from Iowa, state-school education, earned a CPA and worked his way up to the position he held. Married with two kids and well-liked by those around him.

The vilification of anyone who holds the title of "CEO" is about as Bolshevik as it gets.

What the left should do is stop pretending. They are not built like that.

I won't call him an Angel, but this is bunk "do everything on their power to frick consumers".

No CEO is motivated to "frick consumers". They are motivated to make their company profitable and their shareholders satisfied with stock valuations and dividends. And if they fail to do that, they will be fired and replaced by their respective Boards.

Your takes are grossly naive and ripe with the kind of bitter jealousy that presumes anyone that is successful has been so through ill gotten gains.
