His home is here, period. Its he and Sharons private residence and yes, he, them or her stay there when time allows, or situations call for it.
All governors obviously have the BR location at their full disposal and stay there..probably a majority, simply by necessity at most times

And ill spend more. You said nothing of the capital city in your post. His private home was, is, and will be his broussard residence.
So
Broussard is the governors private home
BR is governors mansion where his duties require him to reside mostly, especially during the week
And he will live in broussard when done
And yes, no matter where he is at all times, he has a security/travel detail that is paid by taxpayers, absolutely. Their cost doesnt evaporate, its full time WHEREVER hes located and needs to travel to..pilots, drivers, escorts are a constant cost.
New orleans is a shite show, as is areas of Baton Rouge. Incompetent leadership is on full display

Your point was that BR has a higher crime rate than NOLA. You're attacked because of your rational assumption that the Governor resides in the Governor's Mansion that we provide for him...which has no bearing on your point.
